Info

While you are free to use any brand and type of material you wish on your AON3D machine, we can only provide support for AON3D-approved materials that we have tested and developed processes for in-house, all of which can be purchased from AON3D directly by contacting sales@aon3d.com.

1.2 Usage Notes

1.2.1 Build Surface Preparation

ASA prints best directly on Kapton tape. Wipe down the build surface with isopropanol before use. Larger prints and geometries especially prone to warping may require the use of Dimafix, an applied adhesion aid. A Dimafix Pen can be purchased from AON3D by contacting sales@aon3d.com.

1.2.2 Material Pre-treatment

ASA is mildly susceptible to hydration. When not in use, please store in a sealed package or container with desiccant.

1.2.3 Support Material

HIPS (High Impact Polystyrene) has decent compatibility with ASA as a breakaway support material.

1.2 Sample Slicer Profiles

Single Extruder, 0.6mm nozzle: asa-sx-0.6mm

Dual Extruder with HIPS Support, 0.6mm nozzle: asa-dx-0.6mm
